Timo Boll is the perfect opponent for a defender, he plays relatively slow topspin balls with EXTREMELY much spin, it’s nice to chop. Chinese just play too hard for defenders.

weixing chen is a very very defensive player :)

Posted by | October 11th, 2011 à 9:17 am

Chen is using a TSP Triple Spin on the forehand with a 2.1mm sponge,
a TSP Curl P1R on the backhand with a 1,0mm sponge,
applied to a Butterfly Defence II blade.

[Chen is my absolute favorite, as I'm also a defensive player.]

Posted by | October 11th, 2011 à 11:31 am

Great stuff. I know that you can see Chen Weixing live at Keighley Table Tennis Centre, West Yorkshire on Friday 3rd June 2011, 7pm – 11 pm. I’m really looking forward to it! He’s a great exhibitionist.

@dschanghsin Oh really??

Posted by | October 11th, 2011 à 11:50 am
